Registration
Before you book:
- Check that you’ve chosen the right type of test for you
- Make sure you’ve a valid ID – a passport or Mongolia national identity card.
Note: Please provide the correct personal information during registration and bring the same original and valid ID document on test day. You might be rejected to take the IELTS test if there is discrepancy between your registered personal information against that on your ID document.
Under 18 years of age?
You will need your parent or guardian to complete the registration for you. We don’t recommend taking IELTS if you are under 16.
Special assistance
If you have learning, hearing or visual difficulties, medical conditions or will have an infant with you, you can ask for special assistance. Speak to your local centre for details. Please give us minimum 6 weeks’ notice prior to your test date.

Step 3 – Confirmation
Up to a week after you’ve registered and paid, we’ll send you an email confirming your test dates. Your Speaking test may be scheduled on the same day as the other sections, or on a different day within seven days before or 2 days after your Listening, Reading and Writing test day.
